I made note of a few things:
- My initial reaction to the war news and how I would have reacted if I wasn’t influenced by the people I follow on Twitter.
- How others whom I follow on Twitter reacted to the news.
- The combined impact of war news and reactions of the influencers I follow.
- I also wondered how Guruji would have reacted to this if he was here in physical form.
As a trader, fear in the market can present good buy opportunities.
However, I chose not to open any new trades and decided to observe the situation further.
There’s no point in rushing in when things are uncertain. I’ll wait for the situation to calm down and provide a clearer picture.
Market always provide opportunities, no need to FOMO.
If WW3 happens, money would be the least of our concerns.
I closed everything as lunch was ready.
Political situations and wars are some of important factors to consider when trading because they can significantly impact the market.
Market reacts aggressively in the beginning ing, when the situation is new.
Most of the traders I follow they are from other countries.
When news like these comes, I wait for confirmation from these people.
Since last couple of months, On twitter, I have seen horrible pictures of Israeli–Palestinian situation.
Injured children, deaths, helpless people….. I avoid to see / hear /talk about these as it stays in my mind for longer time and I need to put in good efforts to shook it.
Governments who can actually make changes, are busy in creating their own good image by using many marketing ways….some of the newly invested ways are more effective and almost free of cost.
Last month, a girl asked for my advice about going for a master’s degree.
“If I score well, I can get into a good college,” she said.
“What does ‘good’ college mean to you?” I asked.
“A place with a good reputation and job placements,” she explained.
“Some colleges promise 100% placement, but you should check if those jobs are worth the investment,” I advised.
“Why do you want to go for Masters? is it because you want a degree, more education, do you want to earn money, or is that your parents dream, what is the reason?”
I asked these questions to help her find clarity.
Please don’t get me wrong, I do believe there are good people in this world.
What I’m trying to say is, there’s always a chance to step back before getting caught up in the rat race.
Trading sounds simple: buy low and sell high.
So why isn’t everyone survive in it? People on social media seek likes-validation for things that don’t really improve their lives.
When they fail, they feel sad or depressed.
A good trader, trades the market, not their emotions.
Sometimes the world may seem like it’s falling apart because of bad people. But there are also unseen forces working to make it better.
There are good souls in human form, we call them avatar, saints, god-realized gurus.
Question is which side we take?
Light vs darkness
restlessness vs calmness
greed vs satisfaction
anger vs understanding
love vs fear
Right now, the plan is to pack my bag and fly to Ranchi.
I’ll be staying at Guruji’s Ranchi ashram. I don’t have any plans to go anywhere else; I’ll dedicate my time there to meditation.
Travel plans ahead.
Next month, I’ll be in Kokan for 8 days, and then in August, I’ll spend 10 days in Bali.
Do you know, yesterday I had first mango of the season.
Baba handed over a dozen mangoes to me. Out of 12 mangoes, 6 are already in my stomach as I write this letter to you 🙂 .
“Do you also like mangoes? If I pluck a raw mango, slice it into thin pieces, then sprinkle some salt and masala on it… would you eat it?”
“There is a big mango tree in Ranchi Ashram,” Aunty (a senior devotee of Guruji) told me last week.
“Ooohhh 😳🙂,” I replied in excitement.
“But you know, you’re not allowed to pluck mangoes,” she continued.
“ohhhhh 😳☹️” i replied minus excitement….
thats all for today.
I wish you a wonderful weekend.
Stay happy, stay bless
Much love,
Arati
